Faculty positions in Isotope Geochemistry

Four positions at assistant, associate or full professor levels in the area of isotope geochemistry are available from School of Earth and Space Sciences at Peking University in China. Potential candidates are expected to have experiences with analyses and applications of given isotopic systems such as geochronology, radiogenic isotopes and stable isotopes. We are interested in outstanding candidates who have obtained their PhD in geology or geochemistry and had a high-quality record in geochemical studies with reasonable publications in professional journals.

Successful candidates will have responsibility to: (1) built individual laboratories for given subareas of isotope geochemistry; (2) contribute to the international excellence in geochemistry; (3) supervise post-graduate students; (4) teach the courses of isotope geochemistry to postgraduate students. A new laboratory of isotope geochemistry will be equipped with mass spectrometers such as MC-ICP-MS, TIMS, IR-MS and NG(noble gas)-MS.
